Research and advisory firm to create approximately 120 jobs

NASHVILLE – Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam, Economic and Community Development Commissioner Randy Boyd and Forrester Research, Inc. officials announced today that the research and advisory firm will locate its newest office in Davidson County. Forrester will invest $2.8 million and create approximately 120 new jobs in Nashville over the next three years.

“Tennessee prides itself on being a state where not only existing companies want to grow and expand, but also innovative companies like Forrester want to locate new operations,” Haslam said. “I appreciate Forrester for choosing to locate its new facility in Davidson County and for creating more than 100 new jobs in Tennessee. With this announcement, we are one step closer to our goal of making Tennessee the No.1 location in the Southeast for high quality jobs.”

“I want to thank Forrester for choosing to locate new operations in Davidson County,” Boyd said. “Forrester is a leader in the research sector, which has grown exponentially in Tennessee. From 2010 to 2016, research employment has grown 34.7 percent and it is great news Forrester will be adding even more jobs to this sector and Team Tennessee.”
