NASHVILLE – Tri-Matic Spring, Inc. officials announced today that the precision spring manufacturer will expand its operations in Savannah.

Tri-Matic will investment approximately $1.2 million and create 20 jobs in Hardin County.

“I’d like to thank Tri-Matic for its decision to expand in Hardin County,” TNECD Commissioner Bob Rolfe said. “In Tennessee, we’re fortunate to have a strong base of existing companies that are making additional investments and creating jobs for Tennesseans. I look forward to the continued growth of Tri-Matic in Savannah and the long-term benefits this will have on the residents of Hardin County.”

Founded in 1982, Tri-Matic is a second-generation, family-owned and operated business. Tri-Matic supplies the automotive, lawn and garden, medical and home appliance industries. It ships products throughout the United States and to numerous countries worldwide. 

“Tri-Matic continues to grow, and we are excited to expand our facility in Savannah,” Jeff Collier, Tri-Matic president and owner, said. “We look forward to creating additional jobs and continuing to contribute to the economic well-being of Hardin County.”

Tri-Matic is adding 27,100-square-feet to its existing operations to meet increased market demand. The company plans for the new expansion phase to be operational in the spring of 2018.

Savannah and Hardin County are represented by Sen. Dolores Gresham (R – Somerville) and Rep. David Byrd (R – Waynesboro) in the Tennessee General Assembly.
