Li Weaver is the co-founder of J C Business Group, an international business development firm based in Nashville, Tennessee with a branch office in Beijing. She has over 20 years of experience developing and implementing global strategies for government organizations and multinational companies in the Pacific Rim. Ms. Weaver has assisted economic development agencies, chambers of commerce and multinational companies to establish international presence, investment recruitment and export programs, government and industry relations in both Asia and North America. She has consulted and coached executives from Boeing, Disney, Cisco Systems, Electrolux Home Products, Thomas Nelson Publishing, ITW, Tyco International, Arrow International, Agilent Technology, Fortune Brands and other global companies.
In 2007, she helped to establish the Tennessee-China Development Center in Beijing which serves as the link between Tennessee and China. She and her team continue to work with the State Economic and Community Development, Tennessee industries and local communities to recruit foreign direct investments, promote trade, education and culture exchanges with China. Ms. Weaver taught an executive course on doing business in China at California Technology Institute and she is a frequent guest speaker on international business topics for Vanderbilt, Belmont and local Chambers of Commerce. She also serves on the board of the Greater Nashville Chinese Association and the Middle Tennessee YMCA Camp Widjiwagan.
Born in China, Ms. Weaver earned a BA in Beijing and received an MBA in the United States.
