Callie Cook joined the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD) as a Director of Business Development in February 2022. In this role Callie focuses on recruiting new companies to Tennessee. Relationship building, project management, and marketing Tennessee to perspective clients are the aspects of her job that she enjoys the most.
Callie was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. She attended undergraduate school at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communication and a minor in General Business. After graduation, she lived in Washington D.C. and spent 5 years working on Capitol Hill. Callie moved back to her home state in 2021 with her husband, Reed.
