Construction materials manufacturer expects to invest $11 million, create 29 jobs
MOUNT PLEASANT, Tenn. — Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bob Rolfe along with leaders from GCP Applied Technologies announced today that the company will expand its manufacturing operations in Maury County. The global construction materials manufacturer expects to invest $11 million and create 29 new jobs in Mount Pleasant. With this expansion, GCP will be adding a new product line within its existing facility.
“I want to thank GCP for its decision to expand its operations in Mount Pleasant and for creating 29 new jobs in Maury County,” Rolfe said. “In Tennessee, there have been over 45,000 net new manufacturing jobs since 2010, and it means a great deal that GCP will be adding more jobs to this growing sector and our strong workforce.”
