NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee and Deputy Governor and Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter today announced MAT Industries will expand its manufacturing operations in Madison County.
In June 2025, MAT Industries announced it would expand at the same facility in Jackson, Tennessee, through the creation of 30 new jobs and an investment of $9 million. Today’s announcement marks the next phase of this ongoing project, as the company commits to creating an additional 85 jobs to support continued growth. This expansion includes the addition of a new production line that will increase capacity and output for the company’s business, further strengthening its operations and long-term commitment to the region.
Headquartered in Long Grove, Illinois, MAT Industries is a subsidiary of MAT Holdings, which began in 1984. Today, the company is a leading manufacturer of air compressors and air brake tanks, serving consumer and contractor markets with more than 40 factories and 14,000 employees on three continents across the globe.
