- Firearms manufacturer to move operations from Pennsylvania to Andersonville, Tennessee
- Project represents the creation more than 70 new jobs and nearly $16 million in capital investment
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter and IWI US, Inc. officials announced today the company is relocating its headquarters and all major operations from Pennsylvania to Tennessee.
IWI US, Inc. will create 72 new jobs and invest $15.7 million in Andersonville, Tennessee. The additional investment and increased headcount will allow IWI US to increase its manufacturing capacity and ability to design and develop new technology for firearms.
IWI US, Inc. was founded in 2012 and specializes in manufacturing firearms for the commercial, law enforcement and government markets. The relocation to Anderson County and expanded operations ultimately position the company in better proximity to its customer base nationwide.
