How Nokian Tyres Continues to Change Lives in Dayton, Tennessee

The Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD) incentivized Nokian to come to Dayton in 2017 and has overseen multiple expansions since then. With early support from TNECD, Nokian hit the ground running. Today, the plant produces an average of 13,000 to 14,000 meters (approximately 42,000 to 45,000 feet) of tire tread per shift. On high-demand days, output can reach as much as 21,000 meters.
